The central green coffee purchasing department of the CAFEA Group in Hamburg obtains green coffees of the varieties Coffea arabica and Coffea robusta to strictly defined quality standards from the best leading growing areas in the world. We have maintained personal associations with the most important countries of origin for decades, and they are what guarantee us independence and the quality of our raw materials. The selected green coffees are carefully roasted in the testing process, then ground in small quantities, brewed, and tested in order to ensure the consistently high quality. Arabicas have a naturally low caffeine content, and provide a fine coffee flavour with a pleasant acidity. The key criteria for enjoyment of the Robusta varieties are a full, strong coffee flavour and a relatively high caffeine content.
