Inspired by a love of coffee enjoyment
Established in 1969, DEK- Berlin is a member of the CAFEA Group and now one of eight production facilities for liquid and instant coffee extracts.
Whether one of the CAFEA Group’s own brands or a private-label product in global food retail, industry or vending, DEK- Berlin products form provide the basis for maximum coffee enjoyment in all its different forms, from classic coffee drinks to cold brew.
The perfect flavour of our products is no coincidence, but rather the result of the special fresh-brewing process developed in-house by DEK. This process forms the basis for all liquid coffees and liquid coffee extracts as well as the many custom products that DEK manufactures for its customers.
From fair, eco-friendly procurement of raw materials to climate-friendly logistics and resource-efficient packaging, our aim is to act with high regard for people, nature and resources throughout the entire value chain.

The systems at our Berlin site never stand still. We do our very best 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, to manufacture the products that are highly valued around the world.
We’ve reduced our CO2 emissions at the Berlin site by an impressive 40 per cent compared to 2011, thanks in part to the combined heat and power plant with which we generate our own electricity and process heat.
We have 200 employees at our Berlin site, from buyers, machine operators and production planners to controllers, industrial mechanics and food technologists.
